Substance Use

Get the Help You Need

Whether your struggle involves opioids, alcohol, or other substances, managing substance use disorder is tough — especially by yourself. Community Memorial Healthcare understands. That’s why we developed a program in collaboration with Conejo Health to help and support people in our community with substance use disorder (SUD).

  • Harm Reduction Kits — Patients at Community Memorial Health Centers are able to anonymously take home these kits which include: Fentanyl test strips, Naloxone, educational information and resources. Harm reduction supplies can also be requested online.
  • Overdose Training Course — this 1.5 hour program, offered by Conejo Health, provides access to life-saving Naloxone training techniques. Register Now.
  • Substance Use Navigators — Our Substance Use Navigators from Conejo Health serve as the gateway to our SUD program. In the majority of cases, people first meet a Substance Use Navigator in the Emergency Department while receiving treatment. However, you don’t have to wait for an emergency situation to get the help you need. If you have a regular doctor, they can refer you to our program. Our Navigators approach people who use drugs with respect, compassion, and understanding. Learn more.
